Is the shed engineered?
Yes. All McSheds are engineer-designed and certified.
You receive engineer's plans, specification sheets
and dimensioned concrete slab or pier layout plans,
showing bolt positions.
Are council fees included in my purchase?
Yes. If McSheds are laying the concrete slab and erecting
the shed for you, we include council fees and the
relevant inspections.
Is there a warranty with the shed?
All McShed products and workmanship
are guaranteed for a period of 12 months.
What is the delivery time?
The average delivery time is 3/4 weeks, depending
on the design of your shed.
Will I have to buy hold down bolts and fasteners
to build my shed?
No. McSheds supply a complete kit. You do not have
to purchase additional screws, bolts or flashings.
The kit is complete including easy to follow instructions,
silicone to seal the guttering and the attachments
for your drill to drive in the screws.
Are flashings included?
Yes. All sheds come complete with prefolded and
colour co-ordinated flashings for the corners, door
openings, window and door heads. Whilst not adding
to the structural strength they improve the aesthetic
quality of your building.
Is the shed vermin resistant?
Yes. All sheds are designed incorporating a rebate
to the entire perimeter of the slab. This rebate has
no sharp edges, does not rust, and is very easy to
mow around and easy to maintain. Recesses are also
fitted at roller doors to help stop rain blowing into
your building.
Is there bracing in my shed?
Yes. McSheds panel frame sheds have bracing fixed
into the frame itself whilst portal garages have a
combination of galvanised strap wall and roof cross
bracing as well as pressed metal fly bracing.
What colours are available?
Along with the zincalume sheeting, we also have the
full range of Colorbond colours to choose from.
How do I order?
A 10% deposit is all we require to process an order
for your shed. The balance payment is then due on
or before delIvery. If we are buildIng the shed for
you there will be various progress payments as the
work is completed.
